24 UK activists are in prison without trial for opposing genocide

Free the Filton 24!

We are the family and friends of the Filton24, all imprisoned for alleged damage of weapons in an Israeli arms factory in England.

The Filton24 are charged with taking direct action in August 2024 to disable weapons at a facility belonging to Israel’s largest arms manufacturer, Elbit Systems, at Filton, near Bristol.

All were denied bail and some of our loved ones have been in prison for over a year awaiting trial. Most face nearly TWO YEARS in prison before they come to trial.

About The Filton 24

Why are they in prison for so long without trial?

Because the UK government has chosen to use counter terror powers against them, in an unprecedented crackdown on the right to protest.

Who is behind this chilling repression of activists?

There is evidence of conversations between the Home Office, the CPS, the Israeli Embassy and Elbit Systems UK about stopping pro-Palestine activists which is deeply concerning.

What have international human rights said?

The International Association of Democratic Lawyers (IADL) have said the “Filton case is a litmus test for democracy“.
